A Blooming Affair

  • Roedean School Princess of Wales Terrace Johannesburg, GP, 2193 South Africa (map)

Roedean School has a truly magnificent garden of botanical interest, which intertwines with the school’s 115-year history.  The Herbert Baker buildings are complemented by beds filled with a great variety of plants, large and small, indigenous and exotic, with roses abounding.  Visit The Anne Lorentz Peace Garden, which is an indigenous water garden at the start of the Roedean Kopje walk

A Blooming Affair is a yearly garden and craft market day held in Roedean’s beautiful gardens. The school will turn into a beautiful craft market where you can enjoy scrumptious food, treat yourself to quality goods and enjoy an exclusive tour of the gardens.

One of South Africa’s top film critics, Mr Digby Ricci, will also be giving a talk.

A great day out for families and friends alike, do not miss our yearly event on Saturday 6th October.  The proceeds of this event will be donated to the Roedean Academy as well as a percentage to the The Link @Yeoville’s Literacy programme.
